Anti von Klewitz is a violin player who masters a variety of musical styles. She is a singer and composer/arranger with a distinct, original approach, and has a real charisma as a  performer. Having grown up on the Balkans she has in the past focussed strongly on Eastern European music.

She composed music for and performed in international modern dance productions and theater performances.

With her gypsy-styled band Csókolom she recorded three CDs with the famous label Arhoolie (California) and played many international festivals (see below). Csókolom plays folk music from Transylvania, adding varied musical ingredients but focussing on the timeless beauty of traditional Hungarian and Romanian folk songs and the powerful melancholy of the gypsy songs from that area, providing translations, lots of humour and spontaneous interaction with the audience.

In Australia Csókolom performs as a duo with Tony King on guitar, or as a trio, adding David Rastrick on double bass.

With her Berlin Balkan-Jazz trio "Hora Colora" she won an important German music award (FFP, Rudolstadt).

The Balkan-fusion band "BalCannibals" features her playing together with her brother Jan von Klewitz on alto saxophone.

Anti von Klewitz has performed with British and Dutch poets in Amsterdam, New York and Paris. In Amsterdam she played in the Cuban-styled-salsa bands Cha-Charanga and Violatina.

Her recent album "Helle Fenster, dunkle Wasser" ("Bright windows, dark seas") was released May 2017. Tours and concerts in many European countries as well as in Pakistan, the US and at various festivals in  Australia (WOMAD, Port Fairy, Melbourne Arts, etc.)
